Jim Gentil, my friend in Austin, Texas, sent me this over the summer. I believe it contains a good values lesson no only for our children or the children in our charge, but for us as well. Often we become so focused on accumulating our measure of this world’s goods that we forget that there are some things that cannot be accumulated, only appreciated.

It's About Them 
Excellent post! This should be hung in every home. This is a lesson that most of us learn much too late in life. It is so important to understand that we must feed the needs of our soul rather than the perceived needs of our ego! One of the key lessons in life is to understand that if we focus on achieving what “money cannot buy” we will unconsciously attract the things that money can buy into our life’s and those things that we do choose to buy will much more fulfilling.

Then why not donate…..?!
I have money. Whenever clothes don’t fit me – I donate it to cityteam. I try to do it yearly. I hear of too many stories of people throwing away items their kids don’t want no more. Which is sad.
Oh and I also disagree with the last statement…If you get yourself a companion you better make sure he is your friend other wise I reccommend sleeping in the bathroom – because if you cannot trust your companion – your better off in the john.
